Cream Cheese Chocolate Truffles
- 8oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 12 oz semi sweet chocolate
- 1 tbs vanilla extra or orange liquer
- Cocoa powder for coating
Combine softened cream cheese and powdered sugar in mixer until well combined with no lumps
Add extract or liquer. Melt chocolate in microwave until completely smooth. Add to cream cheese mix and blend until completely smooth. Refrigerate for up to one hour or until firm. Remove from refrigerator and scoop a small amount and roll between your palms to form a ball. Do this to the rest of the mix. Immediately roll in cocoa powder and refrigerate until firm again.
